In winter it is easier that someone in the family gets the flu, especially elders and youngsters.
In order to protect ourselves, it is not enough to avoid the contact with sick people because the virus is spread not only through air, but it can also be transmitted by touching the same surfaces, inside and outside (cell phones, tablets, remotes, ATMs, shop carts etc.)

To increase the probability of keeping the flu away, at least within your own home, it is enough to follow some simple rules.
The basic one is to wash your hands often and with soap for at least 20 seconds, in order to eliminate all possible traces of viruses.
It is suggested to cover both nose and mouth and to throw away used tissues and not leave them around.

Last but not least, there is a simple routine to adopt inside your home in order to eliminate bacteria and make sure you create a healthier environment: change the air at least twice a day by opening the windows, sanitize as often as possible the most used and touched surfaces and wash your clothes more often, adding a sanitizing additive in every washing machine’s program.
